The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center
Fauna Project

Eight volunteers participated in this week's survey; conditions were cold and sunny. The diversity of moths is fascinating. Those shown below include a very convincing bumble bee mimic and a bird dropping mimic, as well as a pair illustrating size extremes, from the huge Cecropia to a tiny micro-moth (resting on a window screen).
