The images in this section were originally created using a technical drawing pen and India ink. They were incorporated with calligraphy into 8½" x 11" posters which were then photocopied and put up on bulletin boards, windows, or walls. Most of the events advertised were student recitals at various universities, but there were also band and orchestra concerts, faculty recitals, music sales and fundraisers, and even parties.
The pictures are divided up into rather general categories based on subject matter.
